The Sciences 02:59
All my life I’ve been a scientist At least in the simplest sense of the word I spend my days conducting experiments trying to make sense of this world As a babe I started with Geology Crawling around & feeling the Earth To this day it’s still one of my favorites But so many forget its worth Then one day I discovered biology Found all of the parts & wondered their roles I became quite fixated on physiology & it gave me some new goals So I met a boy who taught me 'bout chemistry He started a spark & I burst into flames Turned out only I was combustible He just didn’t burn the same I started digging up old feelings of rejection An emotional archaeologist who just couldn’t let go I found some bones in everyone else's closets & they told me there’s room to grow So I did a stint in modern psychology Took all of my friends & I put them on shelves Wasted time practicing psychoanalysis When I should’ve been looking, I should've been looking at myself I had climbed to the top of my ego Certain that I was going to soar But physics never fails to take the wind right from your sails And bring you plummeting to the floor Now I try to be much more logical I don’t mess with the fallacies, I focus on truth I like to nullify all the old hypotheses That I made in my ignorant youth All my life I’ve been a scientist At least in the simplest sense of the word I spend my days conducting experiments & trying to make sense of this crazy world All my life I’ve been a scientist At least in the simplest sense of the word I spend my days conducting experiments & trying to make sense of this world

Stick Around 03:40
Some days you’ll feel the pain Like never ending rain Some days youth dart will break Until you think it’s all you can take But little sister can’t you see That’s not how it has to be Little brother don’t look down Just take a breath and turn around Cause it gets better As we get older Some loves grow warmer Some friends grow colder And there may always be a handful of fools Trying to bring you down Oh, but stick around. When everyday’s a fight Just to wake up and survive You know you don’t need to hide Just find the strength you have inside We don’t always know the way But I promise that’s okay Just brush the hate right off your skin and don’t you ever let them win Cause it gets better As we get older Some loves grow warmer Some friends grow colder And there may always be a handful of fools Trying to bring you down Oh, but stick around. Cause it gets better if you let it. This life's worth living Don't you forget it Although sometimes it may seem That all of your dreams Are crumbling to the ground Oh, stick around.

Comfortable 03:04
I put in 8 hours at work before I come home Oh, I wanna clear my head of everything I know All the trials & tribulations of the day I wanna wash them all away. Let me slip into something more comfortable Let my hair down low More comfortable I just let it all go Cause it’s just you and me and into your arms is where I’ll be slipping. You work hard Everyday & it wears you down But you only let it show When nobody’s around When you’re tired of being strong, I’ll set you free Baby, just come come home to me & you can slip into something more comfortable Let your hair down low More comfortable Just let it all go Cause it’s just you & me & into my arms is where you’ll be slipping But when the weekend comes we go wild We lock the doors, & don’t let anyone inside Soon enough we know our fun will end But Monday night we start it all again When we slip into something more comfortable Let Our hair down low More comfortable We just let it all go Cause it’s just you & me & into your arms is where I'll be slipping We can slip into something more comfortable Let Our hair down low More comfortable Moving nice and slow Cause it’s just you & me & into my arms is where you’ll be slipping
